This role is for an experienced devops engineer to help us build secure and reliable infrastructure and automation for our platform written in Go, with strong focus on cloud-native architecture on AWS, good understanding of serverless, Kafka messaging and modern CI/CD. This is a hands-on role involving prototyping state of the art solutions, proposing and implementing best practices and coaching other team members.
Manage the efficient deployment pipelines and infrastructure management.
Oversee the design, implementation, and optimization of CI/CD pipelines.
Collaborate with development, Products and IT teams to ensure seamless integration of applications into the production environment.
Automate infrastructure and deployment processes to improve efficiency, reliability, and scalability.
Troubleshoot and resolve complex infrastructure and deployment issues.
Ensure best practices for version control, monitoring, and deployment processes are followed.
Establish and maintain cloud infrastructure, with a focus on high availability and disaster recovery.
Drive continuous improvement of DevOps tools, technologies, and practices.
Monitor system performance, identify bottlenecks, and recommend improvements.
Collaborate with other departments to ensure infrastructure and deployment align with overall business goals.
3+ years of experience managing cloud infrastructure on AWS
Strong knowledge of event driven architecture leveraging Kafka
AWS (API GW, Dynamo, Aurora, Lambda), Docker, SQL, Postgres, OpenAPI
Strong knowledge in automating tasks and CI/CD
Experience working in financial services or other strongly regulated environment
Excellent problem-solving, troubleshooting, and debugging skills.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple priorities.
