Your role

As a Risk Manager for Tradevest, you will ensure that our operations meet the highest regulatory standards for investment firms. You will be responsible for the risk framework covering both traditional financial instruments and the digital asset ecosystem.

Your mission and responsibilities

Implementing and monitoring risk management systems in accordance with MaRisk and WpIG requirements.
Analyzing and managing exposures in securities and cryptocurrency trading.
Developing risk metrics for digital assets, including liquidity and volatility assessments for the WAWEX exchange.
Enhancing internal control systems (ICS) and ensuring robust reporting to the management.

Your qualifications and experience

Proven experience in Bank Risk Management or at a regulated investment firm.
In-depth knowledge of MaRisk (Minimum Requirements for Risk Management) and WpIG.
Strong affinity for and experience with Cryptocurrencies and Blockchain technology.
Proficiency in risk modeling; experience with data tools (e.g., Python or SQL) or blockchain analytics platforms (e.g., Chainalysis, Elliptic) is a significant plus.
Since you will deal with German regulatory authorities (BaFin) regarding MaRisk and WpIG, professional proficiency in German would be a plus.
